Welcome to Potton Dance Academy
Est. 1983
A fun and friendly dancing school based in Potton, Bedfordshire.
Weekly classes are held throughout term-time for children, teens and adults of all ages and abilities. Our timetable boasts more than 30 classes each week, regular dance exams and an annual showcase for all the family to enjoy. The school currently houses more than 120 students who take part in weekly lessons. We pride ourselves on being a school with a family feel and an ethos of inclusion, where all dancers have fun, make new friends, and keep fit. All of our classes have a welcoming and supportive atmosphere, and although we strive to teach our students the discipline and dedication of dance, the focus in our lessons is always on fun and positive learning.
Potton Dance Academy is registered with both the ISTD and the IDTA, two of the world's most prestigious dance exam boards. This certification demonstrates that we teach to a high standard ensuring safe dance practice and age appropriate learning. Our classes are suitable for those who choose dance as a fun hobby, and also for those who have a keen interest in taking performing arts to the next level.
All teachers at Potton Dance Academy hold the Diploma in Dance Instruction and Diploma In Dance Education with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) and hold Registered Teaching Status with the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA).
